Behavioral Health Services
Gentle Care Home Services launches our behavioral
health program entitled "Intensive In-Community Services"!
We have joined with the Department of Children and
Families, Division of Child Behavioral Health Services to provide
in-home and community clinical support for parents/caregivers/guardians
and their children, with behavioral and emotional disturbances. The
purpose of these therapeutic services is to strengthen the family,
to provide family stability and to preserve the family constellation
in the community setting. These services are flexible both
as to where and when they are provided based on the family’s
needs.
At Gentle Care Home Services, we help your family
members reach their goals by:
- Providing Intensive In-Community Services that
encompass a broad array of interventions ranging from clinical
therapy to behavioral assistance.
- Providing Intensive In-Community Services that
will help stabilize behaviors that led to a crisis.
- Preventing/reducing the need for inpatient hospitalization.
- Preventing the need for out-of-home living arrangements.
Our services can facilitate your family member's
transition from an intensive treatment setting back to his or her
community.
Services are designed to meet the unique needs of
the child or youth, based on his or her cultural values and norms.
We use the strengths of the family in the treatment
process.
Our program will provide young people and their
families with services such as negotiation, conflict resolution skill
training, healthy limit-setting, stress management, and developing
of or building on skills that would enhance self-fulfillment, education
and potential employability.
